Knole Estate
Knole Estate has been the seat of the Sackville family for over 400 years. The Sackville family gifted Knole House to the National Trust in 1946 and still reside in Knole House. The majority of Knole park remains within the ownership of the Knole Estate. The park is open to visitors to enjoy for free 365 days a year. The thousand-acre deer park is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest and is home to a herd of over 350 fallow deer.
